ABAS, announced that the company will provide support to the Auto-gration project, led by the European Commission and designed to integrate small and medium enterprises into the automotive digital supply chain.
The goal of Auto-gration is to establish and promote an easier way to interchange EDI messages adopting the XML standard. The SMEs will then be allowed to directly connect their ERPs into the supply chain.
By supporting Auto-gration, ABAS is partnering with their clients to run pilot projects. The goal of these pilot programs is to develop and optimize the architecture of Auto-gration under real business conditions.
The project as a whole is driven by large automotive industry organizations such as Odette International, CLEPA, and CECRA.
On March 15th and 16th, 2012 the Auto-gration Conference will take place in Stuttgart (Germany), where participating world’s leading automotive companies (manufacturers, Tier I and II) will present the best featured pilot projects.
